Notes

A massive collection of bossa nova gems from the 60s - all hand-picked by Nicola Conte with as much care for sound as his own contemporary work on the Schema label! The tracks here are pulled mostly from the RGE label's landmark 60s albums in Brazil - albums that are awash in jazzy grooves, blue-tinged vocals, and some of the darker corners that always make older bossa albums worth searching out! Some of the titles here are familiar from single reissues, but there's a lot more here that aren't - and the music is put together with a sense if space, sound, and timing that's clearly the result of Conte's careful input on the release.

Album
