A Southern American expatriate living in Canada, he was unable to appear in the U. to promote the album, which was released in a fold-out LP jacket that featured the same sepia-toned portrait which looked like one of those austere M. Nice flat pressing but unfortunately, there is a lot of distortion/resonance happening between my stylus and (especially) Jesse’s voice on this vinyl. I have a Rega P6 and Ania cart setup (other gear includes Bryston and B & W 805 Matrix). This type of distortion is virtually non existent in my collection. Bad pressing?
